
Below are pictures and information about our new gritter attachment for the Workhorse
This machine is ideal for surface gritting in all types of locations - Golf Courses, Airports, Schools, Factories; in fact anywhere that the public or your members / employees need to have safe, non slip roads and paths during icy conditions.

Front view - for all the world looking like a standard Workhorse but look carefully, at the back you can see the gritter attachment all ready to go. |
This view shows the gritter box and the controlling handle, this regulates how much grit / salt is being spread. Also shown is the detachable rain canopy. |
The rear view from the other side shows the guard box which covers the driving wheel and mechanism for the gritter. The driving wheel is driven from the rear buggy wheel during use. |

Here we see a more detailed view of the actual hopper with its grid which prevents lumps, which are too big for the mechanism, passing down into the lower hopper. The storage box can also be seen, which in this case is storing bags of sharp sand. |
This shows a close up rear view of the gritter attachment along with the stand on which the machine can be parked whilst not in use, the standard Workhorse body can simply be re-attached during this time. |
